Hi! We're renting a bedroom in our 4-bed 2-bath apt in Flatbush. The apt is right by Flatbush Ave, almost next to Kings Theater, and we're just about 8 mins walking to the Q/B line, and right in front of one of the B41 bus stops! Even though the building is somewhat old, we have a live-in super, and it's also rent-stabilized, which means if the rent goes up, it only goes up by a very small amount. We also have an elevator, even though we're only on the second floor, so you might not even need it. The living room has exposed brick and is currently mostly half empty, so you can feel free to move in with whatever furniture you might prefer, if you like. The available room has two decently sized windows with a fire escape that looks down into the entrance of the building - you can feel free to smoke and hang out in it. We're 420-friendly! Just try to smoke out the windows or in your room, as per usual! There are also two relatively close Target stores nearby, including one that, even though smaller than the one more south to us, is practically around the corner from the apt. And of course, we also have a decent variety of other grocery stores, markets, shops, and restaurants nearby. However, even though we live next to busy Flatbush Ave, it's actually relatively quiet the moment you step into our side of the street/residential area. There's also a decent amount of people who seem to have lived here for potentially decades. And last but not least, Prospect Park is about 15 mins walking distance, and we also have Citi Bike right in front of the apt, and even though we don't have laundry in the building, there are at least 3 to 4 laundry mats fairly close by. Oh, and if you're a Brooklyn College student, it's a 10/15 mins bus ride, or a 30-min walk directly from the apt! Rent is $944, as stated, and utilities go about $50~70 per person.

We're looking for a clean and respectful roommate. Someone who cleans after themselves, and just knows how to share a space, as well as communicate when need be. The people currently living here are in their mid-20s to early 30s, 2 girls and 1 guy. One of the girls works a 9-to-5 administrative job from home, the other works in the city, and her schedule varies as she works in service, as well as freelances in the arts, and our guy roommate has a hybrid schedule working in finance, alternating between working at home and working in the city. We all mostly just keep to ourselves and do our thing, while ofc still prioritizing communication whenever needed! So we're looking for someone who is looking for the same thing. Also, as a small disclaimer, our roommate who works full-time from home will also be coincidentally moving away by the end of this month; however, we will be prioritizing finding someone who fits the same vibe when filling in for that room, as well!

We're seeking someone looking to move in as soon as possible, and candidates must have at least a 700 credit score and above! It is required by management for the application, and they seem to be unfortunately strict about that, so just another disclaimer! Past that, all that will be needed will be a deposit for the room, the same amount as the rent, and the first month's rent. Let us know if you're interested!
