The room is the larger room in the apartment and comes with a bed and mattress (but you can get rid of it if you have your own furniture). It has a large closet, cable hookups and 2 windows.
There is no private laundry in the building, but the building has a laundromat on the first floor that has drop-off service.
I am a professional who works full time in-office 8-4. I am usually out of the house most evenings. The apartment has a living room with table, TV and couch for common use, a large kitchen with lots of storage, and you will have access to a second closet for storage. I have friends over sometimes for dinner or to hang out, and you are welcome to bring people over as long as everything remains open and respectful.
No smoking, no loud parties, no binge drinking/drug use. Absolutely no use of the room for AirBNB.
