6 year old Green Tree Python… Feeding on frozen thawed rats… originally purchased for a breeding project that I never got around to… snake has never been sexed.
This snake is cage aggressive and has a very strong feeding response… It will eat ANYTHING: Mice, Rats, Chicks, whatever. I think it would even eat it frozen if you put it in front of it. 😅… It has eaten live but I don’t feed it live anymore. Don’t want to risk a rat injuring the snake.
Snake is very healthy. Owned it for 6 years with no problems. Had it since it was a baby (red neonate)… not a good beginner snake and not good for kids. This is more of a display snake.
Feeding 2x a month on medium rats… Not a big bowl drinker. Likes being misted so it can drink droplets.
