Growing NYC immigration law firm is seeking an experienced Georgian-fluent Immigration Paralegal to join our team. We work heavily with asylum matters and complex immigration cases, and we are looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and professional.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and file I-589 asylum applications, affidavits, and supporting evidence.
* Draft detailed client declarations and country conditions research.
* Assist attorneys with asylum interviews, USCIS filings, and defensive asylum cases in Immigration Court.
* Communicate with Georgian-speaking clients, gather documents, and maintain organized case files.
* Support with motions, EOIR filings, and other immigration applications as needed.
Requirements:
* Full fluency in Georgian and English.
* 1+ years of immigration paralegal experience, preferably with asylum work.
* Strong writing, organization, and case-management skills.
* Ability to communicate clearly with clients and work in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation:
Competitive salary up to $90,000+, depending on experience, plus benefits and growth opportunities.
