We are a catering company seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Entry-Level Office Assistant to support daily administrative tasks, data entry, document organization, and customer communication. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and other office tools.
The ideal candidate is organized, communicates clearly, pays close attention to detail, and can work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Perform accurate data entry into spreadsheets, databases, and digital systems.
Transfer information from physical documents, PDFs, paper logs, catering orders, event records, and other documents into electronic files.
Update, organize, and maintain existing documents and files for easy access and retrieval.
Use Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Docs to create, edit, and manage information.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, document preparation, recordkeeping, and basic reporting.
Communicate professionally with customers, team members, vendors, and other departments.
Review information for accuracy and completeness.
Help maintain organized office systems and support day-to-day operations for the catering business.
Qualifications
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Working knowledge of Google Workspace, including Google Sheets and Google Docs.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to perform repetitive data entry tasks efficiently.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively.
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills
Previous experience with data entry, filing, or administrative support.
Experience in catering, hospitality, food service, or event coordination is a plus, but not required.
Ability to review and organize large amounts of information.

Willingness to learn new systems and office procedures.
