We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient Data Analyst to join our team and provide ongoing data support for our administrative operations.
This fully remote employee position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in organized systems. The successful candidate will be self-directed, dependable, and proactive—someone who takes ownership of projects, manages priorities independently, and consistently follows through with minimal supervision. Employees are expected to establish and commit to a regular work schedule, in advance, in collaboration with the administrative team.
We are seeking someone interested in becoming a long-term member of our team, with the expectation of remaining in the role for at least one year.
Scope of Services
Services include, but are not limited to:
- Enter data accurately and thoroughly into our proprietary database, Google Workspace, Mailchimp, and CRM platform
- Perform routine quality assurance checks and audits of larger datasets
- Maintain accurate client, referral source, and tutor records through ongoing data maintenance
- Identify, investigate, and correct data inconsistencies and errors
- Organize information into dashboards, spreadsheets, tables, and reports that are accessible to colleagues without technical backgrounds
- Clean, validate, and organize datasets
- Develop and maintain automations and workflows (preferred)
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
- Respond to and resolve emails, tags, and comments received through the Data Team Google Group during periods of availability
- Maintain the shared Data Team Activity Log
- Participate in virtual semi-monthly data team meetings
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A graduate degree (completed or in progress) in quantitative research, statistics, computer science, data analytics, or a related field
- Previous experience performing high-volume, detail-oriented data entry with exceptional accuracy
- Experience cleaning, validating, and organizing datasets
- Experience writing and troubleshooting automations or scripts (preferred)
- Strong proficiency with Google Workspace; experience with Mailchimp and CRM platforms is preferred
- The ability to manage multiple priorities independently while consistently producing accurate, high-quality work
- Strong written communication skills and the judgment to proactively seek clarification when appropriate
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, reliability, and follow-through
- A commitment to protecting confidential information
Compensation & Commitment
- This is a remote, hourly W-2 employee position.
- Compensation: $27 per hour
- 10-15 hours per week of availability required; flexibility week-to-week available, but commitment to setting work schedule in advance, in collaboration with team, is required
- Additional project work and hours may become available over time
