**Immediate Openings - After School Program Instructor
Must provide constant supervision and ensure safety of all program participants.
Must be able to plan and implement, age appropriate, activities.
Knowledge of creating and submitting lesson plans, actively participate in all staff trainings, meetings, facilitate class activities in person.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Prior afterschool or summer camp experience working with elementary or middle school aged students.
• In person and hybrid experience preferred.
• Minimum HS Diploma/GED, College and/or degree preferred.
• Exceptional group management, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Goal oriented and focused on outcome and results.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have the ability to maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for youth & families.
• Demonstrate the ability to engage, motivate and effectively work to create interactive academic and/or enrichment activities that are age-appropriate in a hybrid setting.
• Genuine enthusiasm for developing professional skills through training opportunities and field practice.
• Ability to work as part of a team within a school or center-based community.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively and respectfully with a broad range of diverse constituents.
• Have some prior knowledge of DYCD and DOH mandates
NOTE: All AFTER SCHOOL program positions will require fingerprint, SCR (back-ground check) and medical clearance to work with children. COVID19 Vaccine preferred for all staff.
