Established but unsigned, bombastic art punk power trio seeks a synth player/multi-instrumentalist. We want someone who’d be interested in being a full-time member to join us in writing, recording, playing shows, making videos, and touring.
Age, race, gender, sexual orientation, and experience aren’t important. Playfulness, ambition, taste, style, solid rhythmic sensibility, and big freak energy are. Please be able to hold it down with odd meters, abrupt tempo changes, and juvenile silliness. Please be willing and able to practice once a week in Gowanus.
People have compared us to Devo, Minutemen, Nomeansno, Spazz, the Jesus Lizard, Karp, Melvins, etc. We don’t actually sound like any of those bands.
