Gorgeously arrayed in glossy black finish with a rosewood fingerboard, this instrument is all set up and ready to play. It also sounds great, with the rich, yet punchy tone of Ibanez's AFR P-J pickup configuration paired with the modern versatility of active electronics. This bass is in perfect working order, and with its slim J-bass neck profile and rosewood fingerboard, it's a joy to play. What's more, apart from some pick scuffs on the front, it is in excellent cosmetic condition, with only a couple minor dings to the headstock, no appreciable buckle rash, and almost no fret wear. Overall, I'd rate this at about an 8 or 8.5 out of 10 in terms of its condition. (I've had it since about 2004 or '05. It's been infrequently played and hasn't left my home studio since then.) It comes with a heavy duty hardshell case which fits the bass perfectly and is in excellent condition, apart from a crack on one of the corners from where one of the nubs snapped off. (This doesn't effect functionality at all. See photos.)
