Red mahogany, vintage and rustic! Serial number 136281, this model K dates to 1909, made right here in New York City. We believe that this piano has been refinished but not sure when; it is not perfect but very elegant for its age. We’ve replaced the hammers and shanks, damper levers and felt, and refurbished the whippens with new flanges and jack springs. Of course the piano also regulated, tuned and voiced. We've also re-drilled and re-pinned the bass bridge. The original strings are still sounding robust, and pinblock torque is quite firm. Check out those ivories as well!
