Black Stingray style bass made in Korea in the early 2000’s
Used, but not abused
Canadian maple neck with rosewood fretboard
The body is solid wood. It looks to made from two pieces of poplar (which really is just as good of a tone wood as alder)
The nut was replaced with a custom-made bone nut.
The bass was just professionally setup and plays very comfortably and in tune.
This bass has a humbucking pickup and passive electronics. It sounds pretty good as is; however, It would be a good platform if you wanted to upgrade the pickup and put in a preamp.
This is quite a bit better than the OLP’s or other Chinese-made Stingray copies.
There are no breaks or repairs.
