Excellent playing condition and good cosmetic condition. There is one large ding on the treble side of the upper bout, just past the pickguard. She was just setup with 11’s and a nice, low action (1/16+X 5/64”+ at the 12th fret). The vintage style frets are nice and level with virtually no playwear.
The guitar is built rather lightly and sounds great, especially for strumming. It’s basically like a Yamaha FG-160 but prettier and without the need for a neck reset.
The guitar has a spruce top and maple back and sides. The guitar is all-laminated, but like the red-label Yamahas they don’t suffer for it.
The neck laminated from three pieces of nicely figured maple and it has a rosewood fingerboard. The bridge is rosewood and the doves are inlaid. The pickguard is celluloid and the design is inlaid (not printed!) into the pickguard itself.
