Very rare and one of a kind MIJ bass!
Made by the Hoshino guitar company and branded as Maxitone.
This is likely the precursor to the Ibanez Biz Moon.
28.5" scale length.
This bass has not been set up and is being sold as-is. The truss rod does not appear to be functioning properly. When strung up the bass has highish action but no set up work has even been attempted on it so I'm unsure of what it needs. There appears to be a crack on the back of the neck but it also doesn't appear to be an open crack.
The pickup is a cool gold foil style pickup but has a blue pearloid color instead of gold foil.
The bass will need to work to be 100% playable.
