Eastman SB55DC/v for sale. This guitar is a copy of a Les Paul Double Cut Junior - by all accounts online, these Eastmans have Gibson Custom Shop-quality at a much lower price. This one has a super smooth violin-style varnish finish with some very light relicing from the factory. The wood figuring looks incredible and the guitar is super light (6.4 pounds by my measurement). Comes with the original hardshell case and factory COA.
I am the second owner of this guitar. There are two areas with noticeable (non-factory) scratches on the guitar top, which I've highlighted in the last few pictures - the varnish finish is quite soft and relics very easily. There's also some general wear and tear like light buckle rash on the back.
I'm also including a Schaller Signum wraparound bridge for free, which has movable saddles and can be intonated perfectly if you prefer that over the one-piece Faber bridge. The pictures show the Schaller bridge, but the Faber bridge is currently on the guitar.
I have a Gibson P90 dogear as well if you want it.
This thing feels and sounds amazing - I've never played a Gibson with as nice a finish, let alone weighed as little or had as striking of wood grain. I would keep it except I also have Eastman's single cut Jr model and I just can't justify both.
$1000 OBO. Pickup in Clinton Hill, or Chelsea on certain weekdays. If you want to try it out, has to be Clinton Hill.
