Up for Sale is a recently acquired replica of a 7 string Russian Guitar. This is a parlor size model. It is tuned in Open G (DGBDGBD) but can be tuned to standard with a low C or B. It uses nylon or gut strings but has a pin bridge. Bone nut and solid wood. It uses a hex key for easy neck adjustment. The Tuning pegs are wooden and use friction. Currently set up as a 6 string.
Note: The wooden pegs are like that of a violin and take time to adjust to. They slip often at first and I have used a friction paste to improve position. In the long term I was planning to upgrade them to banjo tuners.
Note: There's a slight chip at the nut on the high D string but it doesn't affect play ability.
Comes with a gigbag.
Cash and carry.
