I purchased this unit without a power supply and had a modern external power supply professionally built by some of the best techs in NYC. Noise floor is very low.
The gain reduction meter is currently not functioning (use your ears!), but I’ve been told by techs familiar with these that the meter can be rebuilt/retrofitted. I can get you a lead on where to get this done. Working originals do also turn up from time to time as well.
Posting to Facebook and Craigslist before listing it online as i would prefer a private local sale.
