Petrof pianos are built almost exclusively by hand in Europe by multi generational craftsman. Petrof has been making pianos in the Czech Republic for more than 145 years.
The piano sounds unique, with a delicate ethereal sound. Other European pianos such as the Schimmel and the Bechstein have comparable romantic tone. The piano has good sustain and a supportive deep bass register.
The piano features a mute rail which allows you to practice at a much quieter volume. Also allows for another texture to explore when composing or improvising.

I am trained in full service piano rebuilding, concert piano tuning and repair/regulation. Additionally, I have a bachelors in piano performance from Indiana University, and have been a professional gigging pianist with a repertoire of jazz and classical music for 20 years.
