Position Summary:
We are seeking a Production Assistant to support our food manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for preparing fresh ingredients, operating commercial food processing equipment, and maintaining quality and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Cut, chop, clean, weigh, and mix ingredients according to recipes and instructions.
Operate and maintain food processing equipment.
Perform food preparation tasks, including knife work.
Follow food safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet production goals.
Lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in food preparation/manufacturing preferred.
English language proficiency required.
High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
Food Handler’s Certificate a plus (company will provide support if needed).
Basic math skills for measuring ingredients.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow instructions.
Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
