Piano Lessons! With an Experienced and Patient Teacher (Brooklyn)

I am offering piano, music theory, and composition lessons where the goal is to create beautiful music and unlock the musical expression that exists within us all.
My lessons offer students a fun way to work on creativity and musicianship while exploring their artistic potential.
I work with students are of varying ages and abilities and have students as young as 5 and as old as 85. My teaching philosophy draws on methods I’ve developed, and others I’ve borrowed from some of my incredible teachers, Sophia Rossoff, Danilo Perez, and Barry Harris.
In my 20 years of teaching piano, I’ve prepared students for Auditions for Arts High Schools, College and Conservatory Auditions as well as those who are just beginning their musical exploration. Currently I am offering lessons online via Zoom, at my Brooklyn studio in Ditmas Park or at your home.
I have a degree in Jazz Piano Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music and have recorded numerous albums. I have performed extensively across the US, including at venues such as Lincoln Center, Library of Congress, Dizzy’s Jazz Club, and Smalls.
