Hello! My name is Nico, I have over 8 years of experience as a guitar teacher and over 13 of performing!
I have a master's degree in jazz performance from NYU where I also was a guitar adjunct instructor, leading group and private lessons for undergraduate students.
I have helped many students to improve their guitar skills tremendously and get professional gigs!
- I teach all levels! beginner - intermediate - advanced.
- All ages! I have experience teaching kids, adolescents, and adults who want to become professional musicians.
- Lessons can be in person or online. English or Spanish.
I Have taken lessons from some of the most excellent jazz musicians in the world, such as Grammy-winning guitarist John Schofield, Peter Bernstein, and Billy Drewes, and I'm very happy to share all the knowledge and wisdom I've gathered with my students.
I will make sure you don't develop any bad habits and learn how to practice properly. I will design a personalized study plan based on your interests and goals.
You will learn all the necessary tools to become a pro at playing your favorite songs. I can show you how to play different styles such as Jazz, Rock, Latin music, R&B, Soul, Hip Hop, and Pop Guitar.
