Studio Assistant / Studio “Super” – Help Keep Art Studio Organized (Brooklyn)
Location: Ouch Studio – 382 Jefferson St, Brooklyn, NY 11237
Compensation: $17.50–$22/hour depending on experience
Busy art studio in Brooklyn is looking for a reliable, organized assistant to help keep things running smoothly. No art background required — just a solid work ethic, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility.
About the Job:
You’ll help maintain order and efficiency in a professional working art studio. Key responsibilities include:
* Keeping the space tidy and organized (tools, materials, equipment)
* Setting up and breaking down work areas
* Light cleaning and basic maintenance
* Assisting with supplies and inventory
* Occasionally packing and shipping artwork
* Making sure everything is ready for the artist to work efficiently

Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license (must be comfortable driving locally if needed)
• Reliable, punctual, and organized
• Hands-on and practical - able to take initiative and follow instructions
• Can work independently and communicate clearly
• Located in Brooklyn or Manhattan (proximity to Bushwick is a plus)
• English speaking (basic communication is fine)
