Job Duties:
• Handle mooring lines to dock or undock the vessel.
• Assist with water filling, bunkering fuel, unloading sewage, and connecting/disconnecting shore power.
• Perform lookout duties while underway and monitor waterway safety.
• Assist passengers during boarding and disembarking, including ticket collection.
• Perform cleaning, custodial tasks, and minor maintenance or engineering repairs as directed.
• Participate in meetings, training, drills, and safety audits per USCG and company policy.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Monitor passenger and crew safety issues and enforce proper use of safety equipment.
• Handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to MSDS guidelines.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and work in various weather conditions.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Valid TWIC Card (or ability to obtain and maintain).
• Valid First Aid/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain and maintain).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and in all weather conditions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Previous marine or watch-standing experience preferred.
