---Looking for PART TIME dog handlers at both our Greenpoint and Navy Yard facilities. Some knowledge of dog behavior and customer service skills a must. We are a company that truly loves dogs and takes great pride in providing exceptional customer service and care. We employ people who are positive, upbeat and fun but also take the job seriously and uphold our reputation. You will need to be a pup loving responsible adult who is reliable and needs little micro-managing.
POSITION SUMMARY: You will oversee 10-25 dogs in a group play environment. We do not separate dogs by size so you must be comfortable handling dogs of all sizes socializing together. Expect to be interacting with the dogs and keeping them engaged. You will be cleaning up a lot of pee and poop. You need to be confident around dogs in order to be able to direct them effectively and should have knowledge of body language and dog behavior. At times you will be the point of contact for front desk interactions and phone calls. You must be sociable and comfortable interacting with the human client as well.
We have limited shifts at this time but will also be opening up more shifts quickly as we gear up for the summer. Can get your foot in the door with potential for more hours. We are looking to fill Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays immediately!

PAY: $18 PER HOUR - PAY IS ON THE BOOKS (not cash!) -this means you must have a Social Security # . W-2 Employee.
