This teapot was made in Holland. It is for serving tea and keeping it warm. It is not for boiling tea in. I made that mistake but caught myself in time. The result is a little crack on the outside seam near the bottom (see last photo) but the inside of the teapot is all intact. You would not notice the crack unless you hold the teapot at eye level.

This is a very sturdy teapot and keeps tea warm for a few hours.
