For safety, the water tank MUST be depressurized before refilling during use.
Unplug your steam cleaner and wait 5 minutes.
Point the steam cleaner in a direction where nothing can be harmed by the steam. Press the steam trigger to release all pressure in the water tank.
When steam is no longer present, the plunger on the cap will go down to indicate that the water tank is depressurized.
Turn cap counterclockwise to remove. If safety cap is still hot, use a cloth to remove. Empty tank before refilling. Do not refill directly under sink
