My friend and I are looking to rent a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment starting around the end of September or beginning of October, ideally walkable from the L train. Would like to keep rent under $3200 a month, and prefer renting from a person, family, or nonprofit instead of a sleazy corporation.
We both have steady income, good landlord references we're willing to provide, and are each happy to undergo a background check. We're thoughtful, conscientious, and low-drama tenants, and are looking for a cozy, comfortable living space with decent natural light. Prewar would also be ideal.
