I'm looking for a large studio or one-bedroom, ideally a first-floor or basement unit. Must be a long-term sublease and can provide a letter of employment/proof of income and references from past roommates and renters. Budget is flexible, but preferably up to $2,500 with utilities included. I am not looking to go through the standard application process, but can sign a lease agreement with the owner.
Currently, I live in Queens and have a room upstate so I travel back and forth. Before this, I've been living in Bushwick for 5 years and know the area well. I needed a change for a while, but am ready to go back! I enjoy hosting and previously partnered with venues to host open mics and workshops in the area.
I'd like to find a place I really love so I can settle down and host from home. I also have furniture and art supplies.
Must be pet-friendly. I have a 15 year old girlie. She's a Maltese mix and the sweetest in the world. She will be visiting me from time to time as she lives with my dad.
I'm a seamstress for a luxury bag company and work from home. I go into the office once a week for meeting/supply exchange. But I want to start hosting and creating again. As an artist, I am a writer and typewriter poet, and create handmade bookmarks, cards, and paper goods to sell.
