Responsibilities
• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including exams, fillings, crowns, and extractions
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas according to infection control protocols
• Take and process dental X-rays (digital system)
• Record patient information and update dental charts accurately
• Provide excellent patient care and help ensure a positive experience
• Manage patient flow and prepare rooms efficiently between appointments
• Support front desk staff as needed with scheduling or patient communication

Qualifications
• Experience as a dental assistant (1+ year)
• Current New York State Dental Assistant Certification preferred
• X-ray certification required
• Must be proficient in iTero scanning (required)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Familiarity with dental software and digital X-rays a plus
