condition: excellent
make / manufacturer: Kirti Creations
model name / number: Pavilion
This thing is a beauty! Purchased by my late father from Kirti Creations in Rajasthan, India, it was custom made for my video installation which showed at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi and the Southbank Centre in London so it contains a few more components than the standard design.

This was an extra tent which I have not had opportunity to use here in NYC for the installation so it's time to pass it along to the right people. It has been assembled a few times for the purposes of determining condition but not in many years. And it hasn't been used.

It's a 5 meter diameter tent (16.4 feet) and the highest point (in the middle) is 3.5 meters (11.5 feet). See attached images for the tent in question.

Obviously it would be sold disassembled. I do no have the space to assemble it for inspection. I would walk any buyer through all the pieces. It's super straightforward to assemble - just needs 3 pairs of strong hands though I've done it with only one other person. Here is a link to a timelapse video of installation of the tent + project at the India Habitat Centre: https://vimeo.com/125994859

Some notes based on frequently asked questions:

I would not expect this tent to be waterproof - at least I didn’t purchase it based on that requirement. At best it’s somewhat water resistant though it’s really intended for temperate climes or indoor use where the climate isn’t temperate. And if/when used outdoors I wouldn’t recommend it stay erected in the elements (even temperate ones) for too many days so as to prevent rusting of the iron poles. The tent I used in India did get rained on a bit and it was totally fine. The coverings are made of canvas and cotton and will dry quickly. But I wouldn't subject this beauty to heavy weather.

It is heavy. Total gross weight according to the manufacturer is 130kg hence why I can't ship this item for you though I will absolutely work with you if you choose to ship it or have it shipped yourself.

If you were to purchase this new today it would cost near $2K including shipping. I am quite firm on the price as it's already a good deal.
