Noguchi Coffee Table - $850 (Carroll Gardens)

Base was originally black but showed lots of wear and tear so it was sanded and three new coats of lacquer applied. Traditionally the finish was so thick that the wood grain was covered but I wanted to keep a slightly more natural look so in the right light a bit of grain is still visible.
Top is original and shows scratches to surface from decades of use but it’s still in great shape with one small chip to edge that has been polished smooth.
Truly a great table at less than half the retail price!!!
