Truly spectacular. Get your gothic glam on. Or if you are decorating for a haunted house or Halloween party this might be an instant hit.
It hangs on the wall, and takes a chunky candle but I'm sure when it is lit up it is a sight to behold. The gilt wood pieces are all intact, and the gold is muted and worn in the most elegant vintage way. It is old so when I say it is in very good condition I mean very good antique condition--with typical wear for an antique piece. See images for details.
44" tall overall; 12" depth from the wall; 27" overall width. It is not especially heavy and can hang on one nail on the wall.
Interior decorator alert. You will find antique candle sconces on Ebay for thousands of dollars. This one you could flip easily for double my price.
