Part of the Herman Miller Collection, early 1950s a BSC headboard designed by George Nelson. The storage headboard with padded backs slides down to reveal a shelf and slants to become a headrest and slides further showing below room for blankets and extra pillows. Beautiful wood grain, ebonized legs and recently upholstered headrests in an Alexander Girard "double triangle" textile. A full size but could be used with a queen size ready to accept a bed frame.

H 40 in. x W 56.25 in. x D 12 in.
