60" Bowling Alley Wood & Steel Desk (FREE NYC DELIVERY) - $1,885 (NYC)

Beautiful custom built, 5 foot desk created with vintage bowling alley slab wood, custom steel legs and reclaimed steel drawer set from ArtMetal manufacturing.
I have other size desks available ranging from 48" up to 10ft. Custom size requests are welcome!
These desks are perfect for home or office & will last many generations.
The file cabinet drawers I use were originally designed and built in Jamestown NY by the ArtMetal company founded in 1888. (Made in USA). The bowling alley slabs were reclaimed from Olympic Lanes in Albany NY
As with most vintage wood and steel, there are some age appropriate wear marks (shown in photos). However, all my bowling alley slabs are beautifully planed, sanded and coated with high gloss epoxy resin to keep the wood sealed and looking great
Dimensions: 60"L × 30"D × 28""h
• Original bowling alley wood (2" thick) These bowling alley lanes were made in USA in the 1950's
•. Wood has been planed and sanded to show original grain pattern
•. Top of desk and bowling alley wood leg supports are coated with thick coating of high gloss epoxy resin
• Top of desk is trimmed all sides with 1/8" × 2.5" flat steel and corners are welded and smoothed
• Antique steel drawers (1940's-1960's) have been sandblasted, wire brushed to a beautiful finish and clear coated with automotive quality acrylic resin (optional powder coating is available. Ask for details)
• Key locking mechanisms on drawers have been removed, cleaned and re-keyed. New keys included
• Desk legs are made from bowling alley slab and welded steel tube framing. This provides the sturdiest base possible
•.Total weight: approx 225lbs
