Joe Celona (1860–1933) was an
Italian-born sculptor known for producing chalkware busts, bookends, and plaques from his studio in Los Angeles, California.
Life and career: Born in Italy in 1860, Celona was active as an artist in both Italy and California.
By 1918, he had established a studio in Los Angeles, where he created his sculptures until his death in 1933.
