Expanding Restaurant is looking for an experienced, dynamic, and driven Manager who has the passion, capabilities and ambition to take on full-charge general management responsibilities. The successful candidate for the Manager position will possess
outstanding hospitality business acumen; strong restaurant service experience; high-level operations and cost
management skills; excellent interpersonal skills with customers, staff, and community stakeholders; and an ambitious
growth mindset geared towards finding and executing on new opportunities.
● Type of Employment: Full-time exempt
● Schedule: Five days/week minimum for senior management position
● Pay Structure: $90,000 salaried position with opportunity for performance bonus
● Benefits: TBD
● Reports to: Owner
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Oversight of all FOH and BOH operations of business
● Extensive knowledge of Restaurant industry metrics
● Develop and Implement companywide standard operating policies and procedures
● Responsible for developing strategies to increase revenues, reduce costs and verify regulatory compliance
● Hire, train, manage, and schedule senior management of the FOH and BOH team and manage POS system
● Support and build team culture through training sessions, service education, and performance reviews
● Implement company disciplinary measures as appropriate to applicable company personnel
● Work closely with FOH & BOH team to ensure and measure timely and accurate service to all customers
● Experience with opening and managing multiple locations and new business lines
● Monitor daily, weekly and monthly company metrics to ensure maximum profitability of company operations
● Develop strategic relationships with suppliers, customers and others to benefit company performance
QUALIFICATIONS:
● High energy, enthusiastic, and service-oriented personality with a passion for the hospitality industry
● Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
● Bachelors Degree Required, with minimum 10 years hospitality experience, 5 years Senior Management
experience
● Current DOHMH Food Protection License
● Track record of increasing company revenues, reducing operating costs and maintaining regulatory compliance
● Ability to perform FOH and BOH tasks, if necessary
● Able to project, manage and problem solve with attention to detail and timeliness
● Ability to work well under pressure and to be a calm problem-solver in a fast-paced environment
● Excellent professional hospitality networks in New York City region
● Available to work holidays and weekends, if necessary
● Ability to communicate clear and concise verbal and written instructions
● Outgoing personality and patience when dealing with the daily challenges of the hospitality industry
● Experience in the oversight of all food service operations and measuring company and staff performance
