Server | Mile End Delicatessen | Now Hiring

Mile End is looking for an experienced server to join our team as we continue our 16th year serving the Brooklyn community.

We are looking for a server with availability to work 3-4 shifts per week. Barista experience is a plus, but we also provide full coffee training through our Coffee partner: Devoción. 

The right person must be a team player - we're a small close-knit staff who work hard together and also like to have fun! Expect to lend a hand seating guests, preparing beverages, taking to-go orders, and bussing/setting tables.

All servers will be paid an hourly base wage (starting at $11.35/hr) plus tips. Tips are pooled and our servers average between $30 and $40 per hour average per pay period.

Ideal candidates possess: 

*Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume environment. 

*Positive attitude and strong work ethic with the mentality of a team player. 

*A warm and gracious outlook, the ability to create stellar guest experiences. 

*Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

*A can-do attitude, not afraid to get their hands dirty.

*TIPs Certification and NYDOH Food Handlers a plus.
