Greenpoint Fish & Lobster Co. was built by a team of 5th generation Fishmongers who carry a philosophy of balance by providing clean, high quality and sustainable seafood to friends and neighbors of Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Starting back in 2014, the demand has since grown and products can now be found anywhere from the kitchen’s of local fish-loving friends to the counters of Michelin Star Chefs. We are currently looking for passionate individuals who want to grow with us!
Position Summary
The cook prepares meals and follows establishment recipes. Duties include preparing ingredients, adhering to the restaurant menu, and following food health and safety procedures. He or she must cook, clean, assist other cooks and staff, and deliver food in a fast-paced environment. Work may include operating a grill, oven, or fryer.
Hours allow for an easy work/life balance. A great position for individuals who have an interest in learning about sustainable seafood. Experience working in high volume restaurant (s) are required. Hours vary, an opportunity to start part time and move into full time.
The restaurant is open from 12PM to 9:30PM or 10PM everyday. The position of Line Cook pays $20-$23 per hour based on experience. Experience in high volume required.
