Busy Brooklyn bakery looking for a reliable prep person to join the team 5 days a week.
This is an early morning position for someone who enjoys working independently, staying organized, and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
### Responsibilities
* Bakery prep and production
* Baking pastries and assisting with daily pastry production
* Scaling and preparing ingredients
* Assisting with doughs, fillings, and baking prep
* Maintaining cleanliness and organization
* Following food safety and sanitation standards
* Helping receive and organize deliveries when needed
### Requirements
* Resume required
* Food Handler Certificate required
* Reliable and punctual
* Comfortable with early morning start times
* Able to lift 40+ lbs
* Bakery, kitchen, or prep experience preferred
* Strong attention to detail and consistency
### Position Details
* 5 days per week 30-35 hours
* Early morning shifts
* Starting pay: $22/hour
