Our private preschool in South Brooklyn is looking for a Pre-K teacher who can help to create an engaging environment and incorporate our challenging curriculum!
Teacher Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain a constructive and ongoing rapport with children and parents
• Implement our curriculum and be able to adjust it adding your own creativity geared towards your particular class
• Collaborate with other teachers to ensure that the school fosters an environment that is inviting and nurturing for every child
• Communicate with management and families about potential concerns in a diplomatic manner
• Managing day-to-day classroom activities, including structured lessons, free play, bathroom breaks, lunch time and rest time for students
Teacher Qualifications:
• Has completed 90 credits towards their Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field OR
• Earned a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Experience working with children
• Caring, nurturing, patient, passionate and creative
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
