We're a robotics AI startup seeking reliable freelancers to capture high-quality first-person videos of everyday activities like cooking a dinner or doing laundry at your own home.
This data will be used to train AI models for humanoid robotics, helping robots learn tasks like navigation, object manipulation, and household activities. All submitted data will be sanitized before use: faces and personal identifiers will be automatically blurred, and audio will be stripped to protect privacy. By applying, you'll provide explicit consent for your videos to be used in AI training datasets. We'll include a simple consent form in the app.
What You'll Do:
- Download our custom app (provided upon hiring) that captures video, depth maps (via LiDAR), and sensor data.
- Record 2-4 hours per day of specified tasks in diverse settings (e.g., cooking, cleaning, walking around spaces, opening doors, sports, assembly work). We'll provide a task list with examples—focus on natural, steady movements without blur or obstruction.
- Submit footage via the app; we'll review for quality (clear, well-lit, diverse actions) and pay only for approved hours.
- Aim for high-quality: Stable holding (e.g., chest-mounted or handheld), varied environments (home, outdoor, work), and no sensitive content.
Requirements:
- Own an iPhone with LiDAR depth sensor: iPhone 12 Pro/Max, 13 Pro/Max, 14 Pro/Max, 15 Pro/Max, or 16 Pro/Max (or newer equivalents).
- Stable internet for uploads (videos can be 1-2GB/hour).
- Available for at least 10 hours total over 1-2 weeks; global applicants welcome.
- Comfortable with data being anonymized and used for AI training.
Payment:
$10-20 per hour of approved, high-quality video submitted depending on the context and activities. Paid upon submission.
