Jamaican Wood Carving - Bobby A.S.H. - $125 (Staten Island)

Presenting a piece from my personal collection that I have owned for 44 years. It was carved for me, and I watched it being created. It was hand carved by Bobby ASH in cedarwood, and really portrays the spirit and culture of Jamaica, and its people. Bobby ASH lived in Negril and is now deceased. He spent most of his days carving, as he lived out his dreams. He was a renowned and accomplished carver known all throughout Jamaica.
The carving is 11" wide x 36" tall, and has been honored with a rich teak oil finish.
