In decent shape but not perfect, study photos for small splits in wood and/or joints.
Not "historic" felt pad glued on by me, 45 years ago.

Held my tv remotes for decades, but I can do without it now.
Purchased in 1970s, most likely at a fair or dealer stall in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, or at the Bryn Mawr Hospital Thrift Shop in Bryn Mawr (one of my favorite haunts!), or maybe in Florence on my first trip to Italy in 1982. Can't remember, sigh.
Cash and carry from lobby of doorman building, or I can meet you at your double-parked car in the street in the always-available (yet illegal, just stay with the car for no ticket) "no standing" spot in front of my building for a handoff.
