T square metal vintage 50 yrs old and still usable!
50 years old, I bought it in the 1970s when in art school. I'm guessing this has to be aluminum not steel, because it's not very heavy but honestly, I don't know how to tell and it doesn't have a brand name on it.
Back in my (nervous) state college dormitory days, I scratched my name into it in, filled in with blue for my privacy here, but I left 4 letters (that I colored over with black sharpy), so you can see how relatively small the places are and hopefully they aren't that objectionable? Alternate explanation: think of me helping you over your shoulder, sharing my extensive experience of doing "cut and paste" by hand back in the 1970s and 1980s.
Oy, this is an analog treasure, isn't it?
If it'll juice the deal, I will throw in the metal triangle and ruler I used to use with it, already pre-taped for, you know, holding them slightly off the paper when drawing lines with a rapidograph pen (to keep the ink from touching the metal pieces and running under them and messing up the artwork.) Sigh, those were the days. Aren't we happy to have computers to do this stuff now???
$10 Cash and carry from lobby of doorman building in Brooklyn Heights, main street, very convenient, I could meet you at your double-parked car to save the parking hassle.
