Have a look at the picture showing the inside of these collar shaft anodes and you will see the contact is full circumference copper. Now all zinc anodes use a small copper ball bearing instead. This is why my old friend re-cast one for use on his Bertram. These are better, but the large copper band made them too expensive. They are not used, just been sitting on a shelf in the garage for years. Here's your chance to get the last of these, and for less then the price of the current, low copper style. $45 for the pair.
