This is the perfect ebike for someone who just needs an electric motor for assisting and occasional use. It’s not a low grade motorcycle so it only weighs about 10 pounds more than the bike itself weighs. VERY COMFORTABLE UPRIGHT RIDING POSITION for those that don’t need to feel like they’re in the Tour De France and places no strain in the lower back. The motor is a front hub 350 watt model that reaches 18-20 mph depending on rider weight and terrain. The range for straight electric power with no pedaling is around 15 miles but again, this is best suited for people who want to use it as an assist to their own pedaling. That said, it does not have automatic pedal assist but simply (and much better) uses a thumb throttle so that the rider has complete control over when to add some power.

The Brewster is our easiest riding, most upright comfort hybrid. Featuring comfortable and quick 700x38c tires, Promax V-Brakes, Microshift 7 speed drivetrain, rack and fender mounts, the Brewster is a great bike for those riders who prefer the comfortable upright position of a beach cruiser but seek more simplified capability.

Built of high-strength steel with aluminum stem, handlebar, crank, hubs, and double-walled rims, the Brewster is an excellent choice for a trouble-free, low maintenance bicycle.
