2018 Specialized Langster Customized factory Blue Aluminum frame, and Bullhorn bars - in EXCELLENT Condition!
I bought the bike new from Specialized and have used it, and loved it for my urban adventures!
The 2018 Specialized Langster was designed with a dual-purpose philosophy: it was intended to be a "bridge" bike that functioned equally well as an entry-level velodrome racer and a high-performance urban commuter.
For 'street' street rider, the bike is as described below, I just made massive upgrades to an already icon of a 'FIXIE!
Durability Over Pure Speed: The inclusion of Axis Sport Track wheels and Espoir Sport tires (with BlackBelt puncture protection) signaled an intention for the bike to survive potholes, glass, and daily city abuse.
Practical Safety: Unlike a pure track frame, the 2018 Langster came drilled for front and rear brakes and included dual-pivot calipers out of the box, acknowledging the need for stopping power in traffic.
The "Street" Variant: Specialized also released a specific Langster Street model in 2018, which swapped the traditional drop bars for bullhorns and used slightly wider 28c tires to better suit the "rallying of city streets.
My touch is described as follows
1) Front/Rear Caliper Brakes
2) Vittoria Session Tactic Wheelset, with quick release front wheel
3) The ENOn is the answer.
The freewheel utilizes a sealed cartridge bearing instead of a loose ball system . There are two advantages to the cartridge
bearing: k d
* It is sealed from elements like mud, grit, and water.
* The bearing is nicely contained in one simple unit, easily pulled and replaced when worn.
4) DT Swiss Rear Hub

6) SRAM Omnium GXP Crankset/SRAM/Truvativ Omnium chainring (SET)
The Technical Details ::
*BCD (Bolt Circle Diameter): 144mm. This is the global "track standard,"
meaning you can replace this ring with high-end track rings from brands like Sugino, Shimano (Dura-Ace), or Izumi.
*Width: 1/8" (Full-width track chain). You cannot use a standard road/multi-speed chain (3/32") with this ring; it is too thick.
*Material: 7075-T6 Aluminum. This is a higher grade than the S300 series rings, making it significantly stiffer and more
resistant to wearing down over thousands of miles.
*Thickness: 5mm. It is a very "beefy" ring designed to handle the high torque of standing starts and heavy skidding
without flexing.
7) Selle SMP Glider Sadle
8) 2x Blackburn Camber Carbon Bottle Cages (White)
9) KONA Wah Wah II Pedal (Composit)
