Calcutta was originally designed in 1967 by Hall Bradley. Inspired by the design themes of Chippendale furniture, Calcutta features cast bamboo patterns on the seat and back, while tapered legs and a lower x-stretcher continue the exotic bamboo pattern. Appropriate for indoor formal dining as well as outdoor use. Calcutta is in demand and is often featured by top designers like Mark Sikes, Miles Redd, and Bunny Williams. Last year's Kip’s Show House in Palm Beach featured a spectacular patio designed in Calcutta by Billy Ceglia. It's also featured on the cover of Summer 2022 Southern Living Magazine. Even the White House Truman Balcony has the iconic Calcutta pieces, as recreated on the ABC TV show “Scandal”.
