Antique French Victorian-style figural ewer or urn, crafted from patinated bronze or spelter metal.
Non Functional. Ornamental only.
This antique/vintage metal repousse urn/ewer features cherubs on the flank, the Angry North Wind on the face of the spout, and a winged angel or cherub sculpting the handle. It’s perfect for collectors of metalware and just really cool in general.
It is 12.25 inches tall and 6 inches wide, Base is 3 and 7/8” diameter.
Such strictly decorative pieces were commonly produced in France during the late 19th century in the Renaissance Revival or Neoclassical styles.
