Details: Antique dark green mid 19th–early 20th century heavy-duty industrial metal tool chest, tackle box, or strongbox. Constructed of solid riveted steel with a coffin-style lid, top handle, and latch for a lock. Originally sourced from a New York City machinist’s metalworking shop; showcases authentic industrial craftsmanship and utilitarian design. Displays a rich patina and surface rust that speak to its age and history. Decorative and functional collectible piece or excellent candidate for restoration.
