Moving out of my apartment which has been great for me for the past three or so years and the landlord will do a lease assignment for any qualified renter. The landlord is required to offer you a new lease once this one is up and the unit is subject to the Good Cause Eviction Laws so they're limited to what they can increase the rent. IRL I'm a tenant's attorney so happy to discuss what all that means too, but in short the place is yours forever if you want that and the rent can only go up a small amount each lease term. Rent is 2550/mo, beautiful and spacious 1BR/1BA in BedStuy, convenient to the A and J trains and a little walk to the G.
Laundry is on the same floor, free and easy and usually empty. Central air. Virtual doorman, responsive super, roof access, etc. Happy to answer any questions and show the place. The landlord will want to see proof of employment, last two paystubs, last two bank statements, last year's taxes, and a credit score.
